Jay Miller, executive director of the ACLU of Illinois, just doesn`t get it. He and his group of liberals don`t seem to understand that a majority of Americans have voiced their demands for a hard, all-out war against illegal drugs.

Miller`s criticism of the drug testing policy at St. Sabina School is a gross overreaction and a grandstand play. I argue that many parents of children in other Chicago-area school systems will ask their school administrators how they too can have such a test program. You can bet precious few parents will withdraw their children from St. Sabina.

Miller labels the testing as ”outrageous” and hints that even communists have a better feel for freedom than do we who would favor such a radical approach to drug control.
