Does the Tribune consider itself a serious newspaper when it devotes an entire page to ”Big Al`s” strip joint? Why didn`t the Tribune sell this club, which has built its reputation on exploitation, a full-page ad instead? You were certainly impressed enough that ”Big Al`s” had bought a full-page ad in ”Penthouse” to give it a bold sub-title.
Also, in the Feb. 26 issue of Tempo, the reviewer of the movie ”Too Young to Die” described the actress as bringing to the role of an abused young girl ”the patina of a woman`s sexiness.” Where did the reviewer see sexiness? In her rapes, prostitution or strip joint acts? When can the suffering and exploitation of a child be translated into sexy acting?
