I see where President Bush is seeking a $500 million aid package for Nicaragua.
It sounds like a lot of money, doesn`t it?
But let`s look at it another way. The $500 million is only half as much as CBS is paying the NCAA to televise its tournaments under their current contract agreement. And the $500 million doesn`t even compare with the $3.642 billion that will be paid to the National Football League by CBS, NBC, ABC, ESPN and TBS over the next four years for assorted television rights.
