Jules ”Doc” Becker, 53, co-founder and vice president of the board of Serenity Club, an alcohol- and drug-abuse recovery program, died Sunday in Indianapolis. Mr. Becker, a resident of Chicago`s North Side, started the recovery program nearly a year ago. He is survived by his wife, Regina; a daughter, Suzette Hagan; three sons, Michael, Bart and Eric; a stepdaughter, Julie Briggs; and four grandchildren. A memorial service is pending.
