Resumes: George and Randall were in the techno-pop band Colortone; George also drummed with Ministry. Paris and Snow are former members of the hard-rock band Lizard Manor.
Sound: ”We`re traditional radio rock,” Snow says.
Repertoire: Jeff and Joe write all songs.
Influences: Aerosmith, Bon Jovi, Faith No More.
In-concert cover versions: Aerosmith`s ”Sweet Emotion” and Melanie`s
”Lay Down (Candles in the Rain).”
Turf: Mostly suburban clubs, with some city gigs.
Namesake: ”A couple of guys were talking about losing some weight,”
Snow says, ”and someone said, `Gotta be skin and bones.` ”
Band`s favorite drink: Slim-Fast.
Recordings: The band`s first demo, a three-song tape recorded last August/September with producer Will Rascati, is available at shows. Skin & Bones plans to return to Universal Recording Corp. this month to record another three-song tape.
Goals: ”To continue writing and to get a recording contract and hopefully to be able to get involved with some `Live Aid` concerts and events where we can benefit people,” Snow says. ”We`d also like to bring some more musical interest back into Chicago.”
