Chicago politicians want to spend 5 million taxpayer dollars for a
”feasibility study” regarding the third airport. This illustrates in a classic way one major reason our great country is sinking into an economic abyss.
Is there one single American who thinks the ”study” would do anything other than parrot the pre-conceived views of the politicians? Do we have any breathing humans out there who believe the $5 million would be spent wisely to produce an objective report?
Dear taxpayer, trust me on this, the ”study” is a euphemism for
”white-collar welfare.” It benefits not only the people doing the
”study” but, more importantly, the politicians who throw away your hard-earned dollars under the guise of being professional and businesslike.
