Chicago public school teachers have passed exams to earn certification to teach, not to parent. But too many of them are ”women in the shoe” during too many school hours, doing the behavioral parenting moms and dads fail to do at home; in consequence, teaching subject matter plays second fiddle.
Our schools` ”worst in the nation” rating is the result of poor parenting, not poor teaching.
