The Children`s Memorial Medical Center is seeking hundreds of phone volunteers for its Children`s Miracle Network Telethon on WLS-Ch.7 during the weekend of June 2 and 3. The program will run from 9 p.m. that Saturday until 6 p.m. that Sunday.
Last year the effort raised nearly $1.6 million for patient care.
Interested persons may sign up for five-hour shifts by calling 880-6850.
