It seems that hypocrisy is reigning supreme at Mills College and other women`s colleges, where proposals by trustees to go co-educational were stridently opposed by faculty and students. At Mills College the rallying cry is ”better dead than coed.”

A few months ago I saw the president of Virginia Military Institute, an all-male school, being ripped to shreds on ”Nightline” by feminists. When he said that his school had a unique mission and that it provided its students with a special and valuable experience, he was ridiculed by the women as a hopeless reactionary.

On WBEZ I heard the same phrases used by women students at Mills defending their desire to keep the school all-female. Apparently exclusion is only bad if it is practiced by males.
