The Anti-Cruelty Society will join the Greater Chicago Food Depository walkathon on June 16, to benefit hungry people and animals.
The walk will begin at 10 a.m. at the totem pole at Addison Street and Lake Shore Drive. Funds raised by Anti-Cruelty Society supporters will benefit the Helping Hand Pet Pantry, a service providing free food for pets of the needy.
