While in the post office the other day, I noticed that there still were forms posted for draft registration.
Registration for a draft was reinstated in response to the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan. Personally, I never saw a reason for it in the first place.
The Soviets are out of Afghanistan now, and the communist threat is collapsing. It`s time to end draft registration.
