– Quantum unit back in operation: Quantum Chemical Corp. said its Tuscola, Ill., ethylene unit resumed operation. The unit had been shut down since June 8 as a result of a fire. Repairs were completed ahead of schedule because damage was less than estimated earlier, the company said.
