The Lockport City Council has unanimously approved the concept plan for a 48-condominium complex. The project, located on 4.5 acres on the south side of Division Street at Read Street, will consist of five buildings to be developed by Frank Burla & Sons Builders. It will be called the Pine Terrace II Condominiums.

According to city projections, developments already approved will result in Lockport`s population increasing from 10,500 now to 18,500 by 1995.

The council also approved the concept plan for the Pleasant Hill Motel, a 20-unit complex outside Lockport near Smith Road and Archer Avenue.

Both projects need council approval before construction begins. In addition, the motel site needs to be annexed to the city.
