I am amazed that hardly a ripple has been stirred in the Chicago area by the proliferation of roadside mega-behemoth advertising billboards!
In the past, billboards were not intrusive. Now, these monsters dominate the landscape and blot out the sky.
I resent this intrusion and hope all these disgusting, overgrown advertising giants are dismantled and thrown on the trash heap where they belong.
I will not patronize any business that uses this form of advertising. Maybe if more people joined me in protest, we could once again ride on our highways without wincing.
