We are unable to afford help for children who have AIDS; we cannot afford to supply housing for the homeless; we cannot afford to provide medical help to the poor and the elderly who have little or no insurance; we cannot afford to keep taxes from rising.

But-we can afford to distribute foreign aid to Europe, Asia and South America; we can afford to build stadiums for sports teams; we can afford to welcome aliens who walk across our borders with ease; we can afford to support promiscuity by paying increasing amounts of money to those who seemingly bear unlimited numbers of fatherless children.
