Culled from a casting call of thousands, two teenagers have won the starring roles in the sequel to ”The Blue Lagoon.” The soppy 1980 original, which starred Christopher Atkins and Brooke Shields, surprised everyone by becoming a big hit.
”Return to Blue Lagoon” will offer two relative unknowns-14-year-old Milla Jovovich, a Russian-born model, and 18-year-old Brian Krause, who has done a smattering of TV work. The winners get a very nice trip out of the movie; it will be shot in Fiji with William A. Graham directing.
