So Ald. Ed Burke wants to ban cigarette billboard advertising and vending machines. He certainly has never heard of the free enterprise system.
Tobacco manufacturers, like anyone else, have a right to advertise their product, free from harassment by the likes of City Hall politicians.
I dare say a court challenge to all of this would probably find the city on the losing end.
