Cubs are 58-56, in 3rd place in NL East, 5 1/2 games behind Pittsburgh and 2 1/2 back of New York. The club says that Ernie Banks, scheduled to come off the 21-day disabled list, will be sidelined at least 10 more days by an arthritic condition in his left knee. He hasn`t played regularly since May.
