Shedd Aquarium on Friday postponed indefinitely the scheduled November opening of its $43 million oceanarium because of problems of paint bonding to the walls of the new facility`s cavernous whale pools. The aquarium has hired a laboratory to determine the cause of the blemishes discovered earlier this week in the epoxy paint coating the pools.
