The two Germanys have every right to a swift reunification. Harold Nyberg`s Aug. 11 letter calling for a 50-year stall on the inevitable unity was not only impossible but spiteful.

Nothing positive can come from blaming present-day Germans for the actions of their forefathers. The days of Blitzkriegs and concentration camps are over.
