The U.S. and the United Nations should not let Iraqi President Saddam Hussein off the hook. Simply withdrawing his armed forces from Kuwait would not permanently settle the Persian Gulf crisis. Unless he surrenders soon, Iraq could become a huge parking lot. Let`s hope and pray that this catastrophe can be avoided.
