Within 10 days, a Cook County lawyer filed a lawsuit and persuaded a judge to freeze the bank accounts of an attorney suspected of stealing money from his law firm (Sept. 11). That`s very nice, but why can`t clients get such quick action when they believe an attorney has stolen money from them? Are lawyers the only ones entitled to justice in this state?
