BIG BIL-BORED

Thanks to Eric Zorn for coming to the defense of us Philistines here in Berwyn in his Hometowns column of Sept. 18.

I did not know that David Bermant, owner of Cermak Plaza, is not a local resident. This throws an entirely different light on the issue of whether or not that landfill reject-otherwise known as ”Big Bil-Bored”-should remain in Cermak Plaza.

Instead of the lump of cheese in Mr. Zorn`s fictional dialogue, I suggest that we move ”Big Bil-Bored” itself to David Bermant`s front lawn.
