John C. Turkstra, 81, formerly of the Roseland neighborhood, died Monday at Resthaven Convalescent Home in South Holland. He was a real estate salesman in the South Holland area for many years and an elder at Bethany Reform Church in Lynwood. He is survived by his wife, Jenni; a son, Bruce Alan; a daughter, Barbara Ann King; four grandchildren; two brothers; and a sister. Services were held Thursday.
