Occupation: Performer.
Birthday: Sept. 21, 1959.
Birthplace: Detroit.
Current home: North Hollywood.
Marital status: I got married in June.
Child: We`re expecting a baby at the end of the year.
Car: A 1991 black Lexus.
Working on: Starring on ”Full House,” Fridays on ABC-TV; hosting
”America`s Funniest People,” Sundays on ABC-TV; and doing voiceovers on several shows and standup comedy.
The last good movie I saw was: ”Ghost.”
I stay home to watch: All I watch is hockey.
Favorite performer: Jackie Gleason. He really was the greatest.
Prized possession: My home in St. Claire Shores, Mich. I try to get back there once a month.
Nobody knows I`m: A closet musician. I play a little guitar, a little piano, a little harmonica.
If I could do it over, I: Wouldn`t want to. The early years were really hard. Have you ever played a standup comedy date in Cleveland?
I hope I never have to: Make a guest appearance on ”Love Boat.”
The worst part of my job is: Trying to make something funny when deep down you know it isn`t.
My fantasy is: I`m at a home that`s on the water, with a seaplane port, a nearby golf course, a hockey rink down the road, a place to dock a boat and lots of kids.
The one thing I can`t stand is: People who are cheap. I`m always the one who says: ”Don`t worry. I`ve got it.” After a while, you wonder why they don`t ever take the check.
If I could change one thing about myself, I would be: A little healthier. I`d exercise more, eat better. I always eat on the run, and I think that`s why I catch a lot of colds and flu.
My most irrational act: Asking my wife to marry me after we`d only been seeing each other 2 1/2 months.
The best time of my life: High school. There were no financial responsibilities, no pressure to be funny, and I could do sports whenever I wanted.
If I couldn`t be in show business, I`d: Be a commuter pilot.
Three words that best describe me: Down to earth.
