Dr. James A. Barcroft, 93, a retired Lake Forest and Chicago dentist, died Sunday in North Broward County Hospital, Pompano Beach, Fla. A 1922 graduate of Northwestern University Dental School, he practiced in the Chicago area for more than 50 years. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy; three sons, Victor, Dr. James and R. Taylor; and five grandchildren. Services will be private.
