Recently I attended a conference in Springfield on current trends in human services in Illinois, led by outstanding leaders in charge of these services.
I attended a similar conference 50 years ago. We now have a new generation of helpers, but the problems are much worse and the solutions are the same.
Are we spinning our wheels? Why can`t our nation move forward? Will we be in even worse shape 50 years from now?
