The Arie Crown Theater has missed a wonderful opportunity to take a stand for decency. When the theater`s management first learned that comedian Andrew Dice Clay was coming to town, wouldn`t it have been great if it had just said, ”No, we don`t want you on our stage”?
Too bad the promise of a big box office take has blinded Arie Crown`s management to the perpetuation of vulgarity and violent sexism that Clay represents. Who`ll be appearing there next, Saddam Hussein?
