Robert E. Jolliff, 60, president of Water Tower Bank, died Tuesday in his home in the Beverly neighborhood. Mr. Jolliff, who was in banking for 40 years, came to Chicago from Cleveland in 1974. He served as vice president and executive vice president for several Chicago-area banks prior to joining Water Tower in 1986. During his four years there, the bank`s assets almost doubled. He also served as a director for First State Bank of Alsip. Survivors include his wife, Barbara; a son, Gregory; a daughter, Jill Ann Butler; and two grandchildren. Graveside services were held Saturday in Forest, Ohio.
