Julia Thiel, 91, a Chicago public schoolteacher for more than 50 years, died Friday in Americana Nursing Home, Oak Lawn. Miss Thiel, a longtime resident of Oak Lawn, taught the 7th and 8th grades in O`Keefe Elementary School most of her career. She retired in 1965. There are no immediate survivors. Private services will be held Tuesday.
