The Du Page County Board is expected to vote Tuesday whether to authorize the hiring of an architect and move ahead with plans to build a 100-bed addition to the publicly-financed Du Page Convalescent Center in Wheaton.
The County Board`s Health Committee advanced the proposed plan to the board floor Monday when it recommended approval to seek an architect to prepare plans for a three-story, 60,000-square-foot addition to the existing nursing home on County Farm Road.
