John F. Luzar, 78, a retired employee of the Electro-Motive Co. in McCook, died Sunday at the Colonial Manor Nursing Home in LaGrange. A life-long resident of Lyons, he was a member of the West End Improvement Club and Local 719 of the United Auto Workers. Survivors include his daughter, Betty Svetich; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Tower Home for Funerals, 4007 Joliet Rd., Lyons.
