Jeffery M. Leving`s letter (Nov. 17) calls for preserving the family by making it more difficult to get a divorce and by ending the irreconcilable differences grounds. I was surprised that he did not make what seems to me a more obvious suggestion: Why not instead make it more difficult to get married in the first place?
