I want to applaud American League president Bobby Brown for his recent decision to suspend and fine Red Sox pitcher Roger Clemens.
As the manager of a Little League team I can assure you of the difficulties in promoting good sportsmanship when youngsters see their heroes throw tantrums. Perhaps a few well-chosen suspensions and fines would help change the attitudes of some of these prima donnas.
It`s unfortunate there are not more players like Andre Dawson and Carlton Fisk.
