Wallace Computer Services Inc., based in Hillside, said profits for its fiscal first quarter, ended Oct. 31, edged up 1.5 percent, to $9.21 million, or 43 cents a share, from $9.08 million, or 43 cents a share, a year earlier. Sales rose 1.7 percent, to $112.1 million from $110.2 million.
