Southwest suburban Oak Lawn residents will not have to pay any additional property taxes in 1991 to keep their village government operating, officials said.

The Village Board on Tuesday approved a $19.4 million operating budget for next year. Although the budget is 2.63 percent higher than this year`s, officials also are projecting a similar increase in revenues.

The village`s portion of the tax levy, which is about $1.70 per $100 assessed valuation, will remain the same.

Oak Lawn expects to receive more than $1 million from the state income tax surcharge. Officials will use that money to continue work on the sewer system and to landscape the village`s new public safety building.
