The Tribune`s headline of Dec. 13, ”U.S. to give food aid to Soviets,”
is certainly ironic. For the past 40 years the Soviets have been building a huge military establishment-state of the art no less. Now all of a sudden they have no food to eat. According to Mr. Khrushchev, they were supposed to bury us.
We ought to let them eat their nuclear missiles. What a laugh.
