Rose D. Markiewicz, 89, a longtime North Side resident and widow of a Chicago police officer, died Wednesday in Lake Forest Hospital. She is survived by a daughter, Rita Miller; a grandson; a sister; and brother. Mass will be said at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Mary Church, 175 E. Illinois Rd., Lake Forest.
