Studies show that:

– The typical shopper spends an average of only 7 1/2 minutes per trip to the supermarket waiting in line.

– Two of every three shoppers make their buying decisions while in the store.

– The No. 1 reason shoppers give for choosing a supermarket is cleanliness, according to research reported in the Progressive Grocer magazine. Other reasons in order of importance: clearly labeled prices;

freshness dates; accurate, pleasant checkout clerks; and low prices.
