John Tonelli scored his fourth winning goal of the season and Wayne Gretzky made up for missing a penalty shot by notching two assists. Tonelli`s goal at 9:58 of the second period came 47 seconds after the Kings` Bob Kudelski snapped a 1-1 tie with his 13th goal. Luc Robitaille and Tomas Sandstrom also scored for Los Angeles. Aaron Broten and Dave Hannan scored for the Maple Leafs, who lost for the first time in four games.
