The article ”Cold War is over but Bush team has U.S. geared for battle” (Dec. 23) was reassuring to me. Written by Steve Daley, it expressed the same fears I have about the monarchical Bush drive to a war that doesn`t make sense.
The Tribune recognizes those of us that are 100 percent opposed to a Persia Gulf War, and even the ridiculous deployment of 400,000 troops to Saudi Arabia.
