In her article about the shotgun slayings in Indiana, Tribune writer Laurie Goering wrote: ”In Indiana, buying a shotgun is easier than buying a six-pack of beer.”
Ms. Goering is incorrect. Buying a six-pack from a liquor store does not require the buyer to complete a federal form. Buying a shotgun from a gun shop does.
