A new six-week tuition-free boating course will be conducted by the Chicago Power Squadron in the Chicago area beginning 7 p.m. Wednesday at 425 E. McFetridge Drive (Soldier Field).
Topics to be covered in the course include: boat handling, rules of the road, docking, anchoring, plotting a course, using a compass, trailering, weather and engine trouble-shooting.
