Highland Park golfer Michael Jordan, who also does some work with the Chicago Bulls, is getting up a sixteensome for a sporting trip to Scotland later this year.

You, of course, would want your own clubs and, oh, the trip costs $50,000 per person, but rest easy because that includes all expenses for the 10 days, and you`ll probably even get to be on a first-name basis with Mr. Jordan.

Proceeds benefit the Michael Jordan Foundation, which supports children`s charities.

”Golf is absolutely my favorite pastime,” Jordan said, ”and I believe this trip will be the highlight of all golfing experiences.”

The Sept. 3-13 trip will take the golfers to all British Open rotation courses in Scotland as well as the Gleneagles` King`s Course. Three golf professionals will accompany the group to try to counteract any erratic biorhythms. At $50,000, after all, you`ll want to be at the top of your game. Two spots have been sold so far, so don`t tarry. One hitch is that this is open only to ”gentlemen” golfers because gentlewomen aren`t allowed on these conservative courses.
