Why not take a lot of the inmates from our jails and put them on the front lines in the Persian Gulf? Most need only a minimum of training, since they already are streetwise. This would ease overcrowding in the jails and at the same time save the lives of our good young people, as well as save the taxpayers` money.
Why should they sit in jail and be a burden on society as well as be spared from obligations that other people share to keep this country great?
