Edward E. Wolf, 69, retired regional manager of the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad in Chicago, died Sunday in Porter Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso, Ind. Mr. Wolf, who lived in Chesterton, Ind., had worked for the railroad for 40 years. In retirement, he was the coordinator of the IRS tax-assistance program for the elderly in Chesterton`s Westchester Library. Mr. Wolf is survived by his wife, Catherine A.; three sons, Brian, Timothy, and Charles; four daughters, Judith Lazzara, Rosemary Dabrowski, Mary Jayne Bush, and Lisa; and eight grandchildren. Mass will be said Wednesday in Chesterton.
