As baseball spring training grows ever nearer and the thoughts of fans turn toward rejuvenating summer days at the old ball park, it should be noted that there will be a new ”old ball park” open for business in Chicago in 1991. And for the record, it should be stated that the new Comiskey Park doesn`t belong to the Chicago White Sox-or even to Sox fans.

It belongs to the taxpayers of the City of Chicago and the State of Illinois. The park is all of ours. The tax dollars helped pay for it. Let`s play ball!
