Walsh-Higgins & Co. has received permission from the Burr Ridge Village Board to proceed with $2.5 million in underground improvements for property it is developing at the southeast corner of Plainfield Road and Madison Street.
The company will install sanitary sewers, water mains and storm sewers. The firm previously received approval to proceed with the installation of lights and landscaping on the site.
Walsh-Higgins is planning to develop a retail center and a retirement home.
