John F. Woods (Voice Feb. 14) cites Mike Wallace`s report on ”60 Minutes” on the Jerusalem Temple Mount incident as if it were an objective, factual account.
Mr. Wallace, a long-time practitioner of sensationalist journalism masquerading as ”investigative reporting,” got information from a 14-year-old Palestinian boy. It was hardly an unbiased account and contributed nothing to a deeper understanding of the incident.
Mr. Woods, as an academic at the University of Chicago Center for Middle Eastern Studies, should have known better.
