Thelma Roach Wakefield, 90, a former Chicago resident who moved to Oxnard, Calif., about seven years ago, died there Feb. 27. She was the widow of Dr. Howard Wakefield, a Chicago physician, and the daughter of F.E. Roach, a Chicago dentist who pioneered many modern dental techniques. Survivors include a son Howard ”Bud”; a daughter, Isabel Oppen; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson. Services will be Thursday in Camarillo, Calif.
